This series was born from my W an T series out of a need to be more spontaneous and carefree, very in the moment. I feel very free when I am creating these as if I were a child discovering painting for the first time again, completely enjoying laying down the colors in whatever shape felt necessary because that is what the moment called for. It is a chance for my mind to explore a tactile state of playfulness while disappearing into this safe ‘Playful’ reality.
